Hygiene protocol

Learn how each session is prepared, which hygiene measures the studio applies and what information you will receive before it begins.

What every session follows

  • Single-use material. Disposable needles and protective covers are used once: they are opened before each session and discarded afterwards. Reusable instruments follow the sterilisation process.
  • Autoclave. Instruments that are not single-use are sterilised in an autoclave before they go back into the booth.
  • Informed consent. An informed consent form is signed before we start, setting out what will be done and what you need to know.
  • Client records. Every session is recorded. That is what makes it possible to trace a specific piece of work the day it is needed.
  • Team training. The team holds health and hygiene training for the work it does.
  • Vaccination. The team is vaccinated.
  • Protocol for minors. There is a protocol of our own for when the person asking for a tattoo is under age, and it is applied before the machine is switched on.
  • Activity and applicable rules. Tattooing is subject to the health and hygiene rules in force in Galicia. Decree 13/2004 sets out their technical requirements and minimum health conditions, including activity notification to Sanidade.

Your appointment

Each appointment takes place in its own booth, with the materials prepared for that work. Other sessions may take place at the studio at the same time.

Touch-ups

For tattoos, the touch-up is included if you tell us within a month. After that month it is no longer free.
